A few months old
Albert Ball was born in Nottingham at 32 Lenton Boulevard on 14 August 1896.  His childhood and youth were passed in a house called Sedgley (aka 43 Lenton Road), on the outskirts of the city.  He was educated at Trent College from 1909 to 1913.  Whilst at this famed establishment he was a member of the Trent College Officers Training Corps (OTC).
